About Brian
Brian Tyndall was born in Clinton, N.C., on October 26, 1968. At the age of 17, Brian was saved at a revival service. Within six months he was preaching the gospel to youth groups and in local churches. Elizabeth Baptist Church confirmed the evident call on his life by licensing him to the ministry on August 7, 1988, and ordaining him to full-time gospel ministry on December 16, 1990.
After high school graduation, Brian attended Campbell University where he graduated with a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy in May 1991. Brian met his wife, Carla, while attending Campbell and they were married a month after their graduation. They immediately moved to New Orleans, LA, where Brian attended seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in December 1993. Caleb, their only child, was born during Brian’s final semester of seminary.
During seminary and the years immediately following graduation, Brian pastored two churches in Mississippi, Robinson Baptist Church and Gillsburg Baptist Church. Brian and Carla left the pastorate in the fall of 1996 to respond to a call to full-time international missionary service. The Tyndall family served as church planting missionaries for eight years in the eastern European country of Romania. They helped plant five churches and saw many people saved and discipled during their missionary service.
In 2005 Brian’s family returned to the United States and began ministering in the home office of their mission organization, Global Outreach International. Brian served first as Director of Missionary Development and later as Chief Operating Officer. From 2005-2011, he traveled extensively, ministering to Global missionaries and leading revivals and evangelistic meetings both across the United States and around the world. Brian also served many north Mississippi churches as interim pastor during these years.
In December of 2011, Brian and Carla left Global Outreach and formed Uttermost Evangelism, enlisting a support team of ministry partners that pray for and support their ministry financially. These ministry partners hold the ropes for the Tyndalls as they minister in the United States and around the world.
